Overview

NAM College, Kallikandy is a minority aided institution affiliated with Kannur University. Admissions to the Four Year Undergraduate Programmes (FYUGP) under the Choice Based Credit and Semester System (CBCSS) for the academic year 2026-27 are conducted through the Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) managed by the University.

Registration Process

All applicants must compulsorily register online through the Kannur University admission portal www.admissions.kannuruniversity.ac.in before the closure of registration, regardless of the category they belong to. Candidates must submit their personal and academic data, along with their programme and college preferences.

Merit and Quota Allocation

Admissions are based on merit determined by marks obtained in the qualifying examination (Higher Secondary/VHSE or equivalent). As a minority aided institution, seats are distributed as follows:

  • 15% reserved for Scheduled Castes
  • 5% reserved for Scheduled Tribes
  • 20% Community Quota for candidates belonging to the Muslim Community
  • 40% Open Merit Quota
  • 20% Management Quota

Applicants under Community Quota (Muslim Community) must register online and submit a printout to the college with supporting community certificates. Management Quota candidates should contact the college directly after online registration.

Documents Required at the Time of Admission

Candidates must produce the following original documents at the time of admission:

  • Printout of the completed online application generated by the candidate
  • Printout of registration fee & university fee remitted by the candidate through online payment (SBI e-pay)
  • Original mark lists of the qualifying examination
  • Certificate to prove date of birth
  • Transfer Certificate (TC) from the institution last attended
  • Course & Conduct Certificate
  • Original Community/Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • Anthyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) and Priority House Hold (PHH) category certificate for EWS (if applicable)
  • Income and Assets certificate for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) (if applicable)
  • Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (for SEBC candidates)
  • Original certificates to prove claim for grace marks, if any
  • Recognition certificate from Kannur University (for candidates who passed qualifying examination from other boards/institutes, except Kerala Boards, CBSE, CISCE, NIOS, and State/Central Equivalent)
  • Any document to prove Nativity
  • Any other relevant certificate for claims made in the application

Important Notes

  • Claims for reservation must be made during online submission; changes will not be entertained later
  • Candidates failing to report on the prescribed date will lose their admission
  • Any false information will lead to cancellation of admission
  • Registration Fee & University Fee once remitted will not be refunded under any circumstances
