The BBA programme was started in self-financing mode in 2015 and it functioned under the Department of Commerce till March 2017 with a student strength of 41. In June 2017, a full-fledged Department of Management Studies was established which had four full time faculty members and two part-time lecturers in languages. The department has achieved meritorious progress in the university. In 2019, the maximum strength of students was raised to 60 and in 2021 was further increased to 70. The programme aims at developing the intellectual ability, executive personality and managerial skills of students through an appropriate blending of business and general education. The programme assists the students in developing unique leadership skills required for managing business organizations.

SPECIALISATION

The core course provided in the area of specialisation is Marketing. Under this specialization we provide Consumer Behaviour, Advertising and Brand Management, Retail Management and Logistics Management. The Department also provides different certificate courses to students.
