  • Webinar on Block Chain: What It is and Why It Matters will be held on 12 August 2020 organized by Department of Computer Science and IQAC. Dr. Shine K George, Associate Prof. of Computer Science, UC College, Aluva, will the principal resource person.
  • A Webinar on Career Prospects in Chemistry was organized by the Department of Polymer Chemistry and IQAC of the college on 4 August 2020
  • Applications are invited for admission to UG Proagrammes, 2020-21. Last date for submitting the application: 27 August 2020
  • An online workshop on Accreditation was organized by IQAC of the college on 13 July 2020. Dr. Manzur Ali P, Vice Principal and IQAC coordinator of MES College Marampally was the chief resource person
  • A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed with Uralunkal Labour Cooperative Society for offering Diploma Courses to the students of the college in Skill Oriented Professions. It will be started in the current academic year.
  • The NCC unit of the college undertook a project of making face masks during the time of epidemic Covid 19. During the first stage 500 masks were made by NCC cadets and given to Thrippangottur Grama Panchayanth for distribution to the public in March 2020. In the second stage same number of masks were made and given to Fire Force, Kannur, NCC officials, Kannur and staff of the NAM College in April 2020
  • The Department of Polymer Chemistry undertook a project of extension activity “Sanitizer to Break the Chain” during the time of epidemic Covid 19. The department prepared and supplied sanitizer to various institutions and public in the locality of the college.
  • NAM College has undertaken a charity project of building three houses for the poor who lost their homes during the natural calamity of floods in 2019-20. Two houses were constructed in the most affected district of Wayanad and house warming ceremonies were held in March 2020. Construction the third house is going on in the neighbourhood of the college, which will be completed and handed over to its family by the end of July 2020
  • Dr. K.K. Kunhammed, Prof. and Head, Department of English, Kannur University visited the Department of English and delivered lecture on Reading and Teaching Literature on 24 February 2020
  • NAM College is a facilitating centre of Coursera a world-wide online learning platform that offers massive online open courses. About 800 students have registered through the NAM centre for Coursera courses.
  • The Department of History, NAM College has launched a project “Exploring Narikkottumala Locality: Socio-Economic Transformation of Kurichiya Tribe” in December 2019. It is an interdisciplinary project combining historical, sociological and environmental aspects.
