2. The Computer Science Department of NAM College, Kallikkandy organized a two day online Faculty Development Program on Python in association with IQAC. The programme was intended to provide hands on training in Python based on the IV semester Computer Science syllabus of Kannur University. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. K K Muhammed Kutty, Principal. Sri. Muhammed Shafi P, Head of the Department of Computer Science Department presided over the function. Dr. Minimol V K and Mr Manikandan, CEO, Futuralab, Calicut facilitated the function. Lt. Shameer A.P, the Convenor of the programme welcomed the participants and Dr. Haseeb rendered the vote of thanks. The two day FDP program was conducted with the technical support of Futuralabs Calicut, Industrial Partner of the Department. Mrs Sruthi E Gireeshan, Team leader, Futuralab handled the session on the first day and Mrs. Anjali S Nair, Senior Developer, Futuralabs handled the session on the second day. Almost all parts of the syllabus were covered in both days. It was a thoroughly informative and interactive session. This workshop turned out to be a huge success with approximately 80 faculty members from various colleges of Kannur University. E-certificates were provided to all participants.

3. The final year BSc Computer Science (batch 2020) students have released a digital magazine Mindroid today. The magazine contains both academic and other creative works of students. Students utilize the Covid lock down effectively to prepare this magazine. All students have their signature in this magazine. College principal Dr. K K Muhammed Kutty released the magazine. Sri. Muhammed Shafi P , the head of the department of computer science department presided over the function. Dr. Haseeb V V, Lt. Shameer A.P, Dr. Mini mol V K, Sri Firdouse N has facilitated the function. Sri. Ashik C H welcomes the gathering and sri. Hafis expressed the vote of thanks.
