  The Department of Commerce was started in 1995. Initially the department offered B. Com degree with Travel and Tourism as optional course.

  The BBA programme was started in self-financing mode in 2015 and it functioned under the Department of Commerce till March 2017 with the strength of 41 students.

Facilities

Department has a broadband internet connection through which students can access internet for reference Department has a library with 193 books with 125 titles worth around ₹ 81,000. Almost all books mentioned as textbook and reference in UG and PG syllabus are included in the collection. Students can refer the books from library in college time. Books are issued to students and staffs only with the permission of concerning faculty in-charge for a duration of one week. A proper register is maintaining in department for this purpose
